I love this game.. Believe it or not my Dad played Simgirls when it first called Sim Girl. It was any mans dream to play such a good game. That same year in 2002, I was around 1 year(s) old. My dad was single and was looking for a game that would make him 'get the girl' because my real mom died 6 months after I was born at age 27 during the 9/11 Terror Attacks. She was a bystander, walking to work. My dad lost all hope, and when he was hopeless on getting someone to fill in where my mom was not present. Someone that was like her... Dad keeps telling me that ever since he played Newgrounds in 2001, he always went for the dating sims to get his happiness back. He met someone in his hometown of Rochester, NY, in 2005, when I was around 4 or 5-ish. I considered her 'mom' and still do to this day. My dad found hope and purpose again by playing dating simulators. It's fantastic how far they have come. Now I am going to play what my dad hasn't since 2001. I am happy to say that my dad has been happy ever since. These dating Sims pay off. I'm still learning at 19 that some games give people purpose. You saved my Dad's life, sim-man. I don't know how I can repay you, but what you did made my dad find a reason to live.
